Messaging Object Model and Data Access Release Notes

This section describes recent changes that have been made to this guide.

Updates for Winter ‘26

Added the following topics to the Access Conversation Data page:
- Limitations of using APIs for conversation data access.
- Differences between the GET /conversation-entries Conversation Data API endpoint and the Connect REST API.
Restructured the ConversationEntry schema page.

Updated the Messaging Object Model diagram and object descriptions to support Enhanced Messaging.
Added a topic describing the differences between On-Platform and Off-Platform Messaging Objects.
Added a topic on how to Access On-Platform and Off-Platform Conversation Data.
Added a Reference section, along with the following new topics:
- A topic describing the Off-Platform Messaging Objects
- The ConversationEntry Schema (Off Platform).
- The RelatedRecord Schema (Off Platform).
