Create ODS Operation Schedulers
Use the Operation Scheduler to define your ODS availability. You can use a combination of realm-level schedulers for any instance in a realm, and individual schedulers for specific instances. Create a start scheduler, a stop scheduler, or both.
To create and activate an ODS operation scheduler, log into Account Manager, and confirm that you have the Sandbox_API_User role with a tenant filter in the format <realm_id>_sbx. For example, the tenant filter for realm abcd is abcd_sbx.
- In Control Center, select the realm you want to modify. Available realms are on the Realms page.
- Under On-Demand Sandboxes, take one of these actions:
- To create a realm-level scheduler, remain on the Realm page.
- To create an individual instance scheduler, select a sandbox entry, and on the instance's page, select Scheduler.
- The remaining steps apply to both types of ODS schedulers.
- Click Create Operation Scheduler, and complete the fields.
- In the Type of Scheduler dropdown menu, select whether to create a Start Scheduler or Stop Scheduler.
- Select the days that the schedule applies.
- Set the schedule start or stop time.
- Click Create, and confirm the creation.
- (Realm-level schedulers only) set the Schedule toggle on. An individual scheduler is turned on or off based on the defined schedule.
If you set a start and stop schedule for the same day and time, the time difference must be greater than 10 minutes.
You can edit or delete any ODS schedule.
