Create Data Lake Objects (Beta)

Create two data lake objects (DLOs) required for the entrypoint.py script. First, set up a Salesforce CRM data stream to create the Account_Home__dll DLO, and then use it as a template to create the Account_Home_copy__dll DLO.

Code extension is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Beta Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

  1. In Data 360, go to the Data Streams tab.

    If the Data Streams tab isn’t visible, click More and select Data Streams.

  2. Click New.

  3. Select the Salesforce CRM data source, and click Next.

  4. Select the View Objects tab.

  5. Search for and select the Account object, and click Next.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select a Data Space.

  8. Select Profile as the Object Category, and click Next.

  9. Click Deploy.

    Wait for the Account_Home Data Stream to reach an Active state.

    The Account_Home Salesforce CRM data stream and the Account_Home__dll DLO are now created.

  10. Go to the Data Explorer tab, select Data Lake Object for Object, and then select Account_Home.

  1. In Data 360, go to the Data Lake Objects tab.

  2. Click New.

  3. Select From Existing, and then click Next.

  4. Click the + symbol beside Account_Home, and click Next.

  5. Select Profile for the Category dropdown, and save.

  6. Go to the Data Spaces tab, and click the default data space.

  7. Click Add Data Lake Objects in the upper-right corner of the page, select Account_Home_copy__dll, and then click Next.

  8. Select Add objects without filters, and save.
