Prepare Your ServiceNow Structured Connection (Beta)

To set up a ServiceNow connection with Data 360, you need to provide some details. Gather this information before you get started.

This feature is a Beta Service. A customer may opt to try a Beta Service in its sole discretion. Any use of the Beta Service is subject to the applicable Beta Services Terms provided at Agreements and Terms. For an authenticating user to connect to ServiceNow, they need at least Read access to these objects.

  • sys_db_object
  • sys_glide_object
  • sys_dictionary
  1. In the ServiceNow Admin console, navigate to User Menu and select Elevate Roles.
  2. Check the Security_Admin box, then click OK.
  3. Ensure the user has Row-level Permissions for accessing tables as well.

Before setting up your connection, make note of these required details:

  • Connection URL: The company domain used for accessing your ServiceNow account (for example: https://dev47813.service-now.com/)
