Set Up an Amazon DynamoDB Connection (Beta)
Set up the Amazon DynamoDB connection to start the flow of data into Data Cloud.
This feature is a Beta Service. A customer may opt to try a Beta Service in its sole discretion. To create a connection: | System Administrator |
Before you begin:
- Enable the Beta connector through the feature manager. See Enable Data Cloud Features.
- Verify your admin has enabled firewalls on the system you want Data Cloud to connect to by including these IP addresses to your allowlists.

In Data Cloud, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.

Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.

Click New.

On the Source tab, select AWS DynamoDB and click Next.

Enter a connection name, connection API name, and provide the authentication and connection details.

For Authentication Details, select the Authentication Method that you want to use from the dropdown.

For AWS IAM Roles, enter an AWS Access Key and AWS Secret Key. Optionally, add an SSL Server Certificate.

For AWS Cognito Credential, enter a username and password. Optionally, add an AWS UserPool ClientApp Secret and SSL Server Certificate.

For Root Credentials enter an AWS Access Key and AWS Secret Key. Optionally, add an SSL Server Certificate.

For Connection Details, enter these optional fields.

Enter a Domain or keep the default value of amazonaws.com.

Enter an AWS Region or use the default NORTHERNVIRGINIA.

Enter an AWS Role ARN, AWS External Id, AWS Cognito Region, AWS UserPool Id, AWS UserPool Client AppID, and an AWS Identity Pool Id.

To review your configuration, click Test Connection.

Click Save.
After the connector details are accepted, the connection is created and listed under Connectors. You can now create data streams.
