Upgrade the SDK

Upgrade the Engagement SDK to get the latest features, performance improvements, and security updates for your apps. New major versions of the SDK include changes to initialization, contact management, and feature availability, so review the upgrade instructions for your target version before you begin.

Upgrade the SDK one major version at a time. For example, to go from version 9 to version 11, first upgrade to version 10, and then to version 11. Skipping a version can cause compatibility issues and unexpected behavior in your app.
