Develop with Salesforce DX Tools

We recommend using Salesforce DX tools for the most tightly integrated development experience. This workflow leverages the Salesforce CLI, the VS Code editor with the Salesforce Extension Pack, Salesforce DX projects, and scratch or sandbox orgs.

To set up your developer environment with Salesforce DX tools and create your first component, head over to Trailhead and complete the Quick Start: Lightning Web Components project.
