Before you begin:

  • Make sure that you’ve set up a IXIA CCMS connection and that you know the name of the IXIA CCMS connection.
  1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.

  2. Click Data Lake Objects and then click New.

  3. Select the From External Files tile, and click Next.

  4. From the New Data Lake Object screen, select the IXIA CCMS connector tile, and click Next.

  5. From the Connection Details dropdown, select the IXIA CCMS connection you previously created.

  6. Enter an Object Name and an Object API Name for the UDLO. See Data Lake Object Naming Standards. Make sure that the object API name is unique. The API name field autopopulates based on the Object Name.

  7. In the Unstructured Data Model Object Mapping section, click New.

  8. From the Data Space dropdown, leave the selection as Default.

  9. For the Unstructured data model object (UDMO) mapping, enter an Object Name and an Object API Name. Make sure that the object API name is unique. The API name field autopopulates based on the Object Name.

  10. Select the checkbox to enable Content Harmonization for the UDLO. Leave it deselected to enable content harmonization later.

If you enable content harmonization now, AI Enrichments (Summary and Q&A) are disabled by default. To enable AI Enrichments, create a Harmonization Configuration and enable Einstein.

    Note

When you enable content harmonization, you enable collection of Content Viewer engagement data.

    Note

  11. Click Next.

  12. In the Search Index Configuration section, leave the Enable Semantic Search with System Defaults checkbox selected. The system default settings automatically select text fields and apply a chunking strategy for each field. Deselect the checkbox to create a search index configuration later.

  13. Leave the remaining fields as is to use the default settings, or rename the Search Configuration or modify its settings to make changes.

  14. Save your work. The connector ingests HTML5 content published from IXIA CCMS to the Staging Area, and from there into the UDLO. You can monitor sync status and view the total records and last number of records processed on the Data Stream tab of the connector.

Edit the Data Stream

After you create the UDLO, you have the option to edit the settings. Each connector has different settings available.
