Set Up a Connection to LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Create activation targets and activate your Data 360 segments to LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

This process is a multi-step solution that can require different roles and permission sets to complete in Data 360 and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  1. Create an advertising account on LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  2. Set Up an External Activation Platform - Configure platform parameters, authentication details, and required mappings.

  3. Create an External Platform Activation Target in Data 360 - Define an activation target by specifying the destination system, data mapping, and scheduling details. You can use the same activation target for audience segments and company list activation.

    • The authentication method used is OAuth 2.0 with a picklist of accounts where the user has permission.
  4. Click Enable to turn on the activation target.

After the connection is active, create your user segments and activate them to LinkedIn Campaign Manager. To activate your segments to LinkedIn Ads, use either Emails or Mobile Advertising IDs. To activate with both types of IDs, activate the segments twice as two separate lists.
