Introducing Agentforce Vibes

Agentforce Vibes is Salesforce’s new enterprise-grade vibe coding environment - a context-aware, AI-powered IDE that turns natural language into working Salesforce applications. Built on the Salesforce Platform and Trust Layer, Vibes accelerates every stage of the development lifecycle: planning, building, testing, deploying, and iterating.
Unlike basic “AI code assistants” that generate snippets, Agentforce Vibes is designed specifically for secure, governed enterprise development. It understands your org’s metadata, adheres to your patterns and Rules, and works seamlessly with Salesforce tools such as Sandboxes, Code Analyzer, DevOps Center, and the Salesforce DX MCP server.
When you interact with Agentforce, you’re collaborating with an autonomous coding partner that can analyze your project, create detailed plans, scaffold metadata, generate Apex and LWCs, refactor existing code, resolve bugs, and deploy your app - all through natural language.
Overview
In this module, you get hands-on with the core foundations of Agentforce Vibes and prepare your environment for the rest of the workshop. You will begin by launching Vibes inside your Salesforce org and completing the initialization flow. As part of this process, Vibes will automatically create a Salesforce DX project, authorize your org, and open the Agentforce sidebar, which is the main workspace where you will run tasks and collaborate with the agent.
Next, you will explore the Agentforce Vibes IDE. Since the environment is built on a VS Code compatible editor, you will get familiar with essential tools such as the Command Palette, Explorer, Org Browser, Extensions sidebar, integrated terminal, and status bar. You will also review Agentforce Vibes controls for model selection, Plan mode, MCP servers, skills, and rules.
You will then build an Account Pipeline Health Widget with natural language prompts. Vibes will use your Salesforce DX project, Salesforce MCP servers, and existing org metadata to create a formula field, build a Lightning Web Component, deploy each change, and preview the UI.
Finally, you will build a Partner Performance Dashboard by asking Vibes to inspect context, recommend a design, build a first version, deploy, test, and iterate.
By the end of this section, your environment will be initialized and you will have used Agentforce Vibes to shape a working Salesforce application.
