Box Connector Limitations

General Data 360 Limitations

Clicking Test Connection in the Connection Setup Fails 

When you create a new connection, Data 360 performs a validation test.

Issue 

The test connection fails.

Solution 

If you use password authentication and the user of this password has two-factor authentication, the connection may fail. To authenticate in such a case, select the token authentication option.

New Data Fails to Ingest 

When you ingest data using the Box connector, Data 360 syncs it.

Issue 

The sync fails.

A Data Lake Object and a Data Model Object Were Created, But the Search Index and Chunking Failed 

When you create a new Box connector, you can enable search indexing.

Issue 

Search Index or chunks weren’t created.

Solution 

The solution is you need to create or rebuild the search index.

  1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
  2. Do one of these steps: a. If you already have a Search index, open the Search Index tab, select the Search Index you created, and click Rebuild from the dropdown menu on the right. b. If need to create a Search index, from the Search Index tab: Click New > Easy Setup, and select the corresponding Data Model Object.
