Create a Meta Ads Data Stream

Create a data stream to start the data flow from your Meta Ads source to Data 360.

  1. In Data Cloud, on the Data Streams tab, click New.

  2. Under Other Sources, select Meta Ads, and then click Next.

  3. Select the Meta Ads connection.

  4. On the Available Objects tab, select the object to import.

  1. In the Source field, enter the Meta Ads connection you selected.

  2. Click Next.

  3. Under Data Lake Object, select the data lake object (DLO) for the selected object, or create a new DLO.

For example, if you select the Campaign Level Audience View object, select Campaign Level Audience View from the dropdown list.

  4. Review the automatically assigned data type.

  5. For each empty mapping field, select the corresponding data lake object field from the dropdown list.

After you map a field, Data 360 removes it from the list and you can’t select it again.

When mapping the Event Date field, enter a date and time. The data type changes to DateTime.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select the refresh mode.

    FIELDDESCRIPTION
Full RefreshAll existing data is deleted and replaced daily with the current data. Enter the data stream details.
IncrementalData 360 only adds new data to the dataset. Include in your table a primary key and a datetime column to determine the date and time a row was last modified. For Record Modified Date-time, select the field to tag records that have changed. Optionally, identify the column to flag for soft deletes.
  8. Enter the data stream details.

  9. Select a start date and end date to import data.

If you don’t select a start date and end date, the connector initially imports 180 days of historical data before the current date. After the initial import, the connector imports data from 7 days before the current date.

  10. Set the frequency to daily, and then set a time.

  11. Click Deploy.

  12. Repeat these steps for each object that you want to import.

When the Last run status is successful, review the number of processed records and the total number of loaded records.
