The Heretto connector supports only HTML5 targets published from Heretto. This connector doesn’t support other target types.

Supported Connection Type

Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is the only supported connection type for the Heretto connector.

A Zip File Can’t Contain More Than 1000 Files

Troubleshooting

Clicking Test Connection in the Connection Setup Fails

When you create a connection, Data 360 performs a validation test.

Issue

The test connection fails.

Solution

Verify that you created a valid Staging Area and that the SSH Public Key is valid. If you didn’t generate the key correctly for your operating system, regenerate it and update the key information in the Staging Area. See Generate an SSH Key Pair for instructions.

New Data Fails to Ingest

When content moves from Heretto to the SFTP Staging Area, the connector picks it up and ingests it into Data 360.

Issue

The sync fails or no new records appear on the Data Stream tab.

Solution

  • Verify that Heretto uses the correct host name and username from the Staging Area.
  • Confirm that the private key file configured in Heretto matches the SSH Public Key added to the Staging Area.
  • Review the Limitations and Guidelines for information on connector limitations and troubleshooting.

A Data Lake Object (DLO) and a Data Model Object (DMO) Exist, But the Search Index and Chunking Failed

When you create a Heretto connector, you can turn on search indexing.

Issue

Data 360 didn’t create the Search Index or chunks.

Solution

Create or rebuild the Search Index.

  1. From App Launcher, select Data Cloud.
  2. Do one of these steps:
    • If you have a Search Index, open the Search Index tab and click the Search Index you created. Then click Rebuild from the dropdown menu on the right.
    • If you don’t have a Search Index, open the Search Index tab, click New > Easy Setup, and select the corresponding DMO.
