Use Private Connect to create a dedicated network connection between Data 360 and Snowflake. A private network route supports Snowflake federation connections without sending traffic over the public internet.
Data 360 supports private network routes for Snowflake on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Choose the route that matches your Snowflake cloud provider and how you want to manage the connection.

Integration Setup
Instructions for creating a Private Network Route. Once complete, you need to create a Federated File or Query Connection.
Choose how you want to integrate:
Create a Private Network Route for Snowflake on AWS. Use this option to connect Data 360 to Snowflake on AWS. Configure the Snowflake account URL and virtual private cloud (VPC) endpoint ID. After Data 360 provisions the route, update your Snowflake network policy.
Create a Self-Managed Private Network Route for Snowflake on Azure. Use this option when you want to manage the endpoint services. You configure the endpoint services, add the Data 360 principal ID as an allowed principal, and accept the connection requests.
Create a Salesforce-Managed Private Network Route for Snowflake on Azure. Use this option when you want Salesforce to provision and maintain the cross-cloud private connection. You provide the Azure Databricks workspace information and authorize the Salesforce private endpoints in Azure.
Once complete create a data stream. Choose which data stream you want to create:
Create a Query Federated Data Stream - if you are connecting Data 360 to a Databricks SQL warehouse to query Databricks tables or views.
In both cases, follow the instructions, but where appropriate, turn on Use Private Network Route and select the PNR you created using the Route Name you entered. When asked, you will need to supply the HTTP Path. See the resource table for details.
