Set Up a Redshift Federation Connection for Private Connect

Set up a connection between Redshift and Private Connect for Data 360 to access the data.

Prerequisites

Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

To create an Amazon Redshift Federation connection in Data 360:	System admin profile OR Data 360 Architect

Before you begin, verify that you have a configured Amazon Redshift or Redshift Serverless cluster and a private network route.

In Data 360, go to Data Cloud Setup.
Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.
Click New.
Under Source, select Amazon Redshift and click Next.
Enter a connection name and connection API name.
Click Use Private Network Route.
Select the private network route that you created. The list of routes is specifically for private routes to Redshift.
To review your configuration, click Test Connection.
Click Save.
