Set Up a Jira Unstructured Connection (Beta)

Set up a Jira unstructured connection to start the flow of data into Data 360.

Prerequisites

Complete the Prepare Your Jira Connection steps to gather the necessary Jira account credentials:

  • A Jira user’s Email
  • A Jira URL
  • A Jira user token
  • A Jira project key

To create a connection:

  1. In Data Cloud, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.
  2. Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.
  3. Click New.
  4. On the Source tab, select Jira Unstructured and click Next.
  5. Enter a Connection Name and an API Name for the connector.
  6. In the Jira Authentication Details section, enter the authentication information:
    1. For Token, enter the Jira User Token (Atlassian API token).
    2. For Email, enter the Jira User’s email address.
    3. For Domain URL, enter the URL for your Jira site.
  7. Select Test Connection. The system verifies that the provided authentication values allow a successful connection to Jira. If the connection fails, follow the instructions on the screen.
  8. After the connection test succeeds, select Save.
