Set Up a Connection to TikTok Ads Manager

Create activation targets and activate your Data 360 segments to TikTok Ads Manager.

This process is a multi-step solution that can require different roles and permission sets to complete in Data 360 and TikTok Ads Manager.

  1. Create an advertising account on the TikTok platform.

  2. Set Up an external activation platform - Configure platform parameters, authentication details, and required mappings.

  3. Create an external platform activation target in Data Cloud - Define an activation target by specifying the destination system, data mapping, and scheduling details.

  4. When redirected to the TikTok Ads Manager platform, verify the connection and accept the terms and conditions. The authentication method used is OAuth 2.0 with a picklist of accounts where the user has permission.   5. Click Enable to enable the activation target.

After the connection is active, you can create your user segments in Data 360 and activate them to TikTok Ads Manager.
