Google Analytics 4 Events and Mapping in Data 360
Use this reference guide to understand which Google Analytics 4 (GA4) events Data 360 can track. Additionally, see what Data 360 schema events and Data Model Object (DMOs) each GA4 events maps to.
This table helps you understand where to search for GA4 data in Data 360. For example, to see how "add_to_cart" data is ingested, check for shoppingCart object in Data 360.
NOTES: Web SDK setup done via the GA4 option can only track events (recommended and automatically collected) that are pushed to Google Tag Manager’s (GTM) data layer. Events that GA4 automatically collected aren’t pushed to the GTM data layer, meaning they can’t be tracked in Data 360.
