JUSTIFY_DAYS

Adjusts an interval so that 30-day time periods are represented as months.

Syntax 

 
1justify_days(<interval>)

Arguments 

Required 
  • <interval>: The interval to adjust.

Returns 

Returns an interval value.

Examples 

Adjust an Interval 

Represent 30-day periods within an interval as months.

1SELECT justify_days(interval '35 days') AS result;

Returns 1 mon 5 days.
