JUSTIFY_HOURS

Adjusts an interval so that 24-hour time periods are represented as days.

Syntax 

 
1justify_hours(<interval>)

Arguments 

Required 
  • <interval>: The interval to adjust.

Returns 

Returns an interval value.

Examples 

Adjust an Interval 

Represent 24-hour periods within an interval as days.

1SELECT justify_hours(interval '27 hours') AS result;

Returns 1 day 03:00:00.
