Set Up a Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Connection
Set up the Microsoft SharePoint unstructured connection to start the flow of data into Data 360.

Before you begin:
- Complete the Prepare Your Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Connection steps to gather the necessary Microsoft Azure app credentials.
- Verify that your admin has enabled firewalls on the system you want Data 360 to connect to by including these IP addresses to your allowlists.
- In Data Cloud, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.
- Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.
- Click New.
- On the Source tab, select Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Data (Documents) and click Next.
- Enter a connection name, connection API name, and provide the authentication details.
- For Authentication Details, enter the information you collected from Prepare Your Microsoft SharePoint Unstructured Connection:
- Client ID - The Application (client) ID from the Azure application.
- Client Secret - Client Secret Value noted from the Azure application.
- Token Endpoint - The Directory (tenant) ID from the Azure application with the format
https://login.microsoftonline.com/{tenant_id}/oauth2/v2.0/token.
For example:https://login.microsoftonline.com/8019cf17-53d6-4a2e-9f97-38d8141d8ce1/oauth2/v2.0/token
- To review your configuration, click Test Connection.
- The system verifies if the provided authentication values allow a successful connection to Microsoft SharePoint.
- Follow the instructions on the screen if the connection fails.
- After the connection test passes successfully, click Save.
After the connector details are accepted, the connection is created and listed under Connectors. You can now create unstructured data lake objects (UDLOs).
