Prepare Your Helpjuice Connection (Beta)

To set up your Helpjuice knowledge base with Data 360, gather Helpjuice administration details. The Helpjuice connector doesn’t ingest articles that are in a draft state. Publish the articles first.

The Helpjuice connector is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements—Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

As the Helpjuice connector runs, metadata is collected. All metadata is listed in the UDLO dashboard under the Labels column. For Helpjuice specifically, the category and sub category names as well as the keywords (tags) are used to generate metadata for the connector.

Ask your Helpjuice administrator for help if you don’t have access to obtain these items:

  • Helpjuice API key
  • Helpjuice site URL
  • Helpjuice categories
  1. Refer to Helpjuice documentation to obtain your API key: How do I get my API key?
  2. Copy the key and save it in a safe location.

Safeguard the authentication details. Possession of the API key grants the bearer the ability to upload any file from Helpjuice to Salesforce.

Ask your Helpjuice admin or get the URL for your Helpjuice site. For example: yourcompany.helpjuice.com.

Categories create a directory structure for your Helpjuice knowledge base. You can specify the categories to ingest into Data 360. Add categories as described in the Helpjuice documentation.

For example, you can have a category structure such as:

  • Data 360 Integrations
    • Connectors - Helpjuice Connector When the connector runs, all categories and sub categories are ingested.

Add tags or keywords to your Helpjuice content as described in the Helpjuice documentation. When Data 360 ingests your Helpjuice articles, it includes the tags that you used to label the articles within Helpjuice. The tags or keywords as well as categories are used to create metadata for your content. This metadata is listed in the UDMO dashboard in Data 360 under the Labels column.
