Set Up the Salesforce Interactions SDK (Developer)

The developer can add the data streams to the Salesforce Interaction SDK after the admin has provided the CDN URL and Sitemap. The website developer and the data specialist can complete their tasks at the same time.

User Permissions Needed 
To access Data Cloud SetupSystem Administrator

  1. In a Salesforce org with Data Cloud provisioned, go to Data Cloud Setup.

  2. From External Integrations, select Websites & Mobile Apps.

  3. For the data source to import, select Website.

  4. Select the events that you want to create data streams with.

    Data Cloud creates separate data streams for each profile event and creates a single data stream for all engagement events.

  5. Map the associated data lake objects (DLOs) from the data stream to the Customer 360 Data Model.

  6. Send the updated sitemap to the admin.
