Set Up the Salesforce Interactions SDK (Data Cloud Architect)

The Data Cloud architect creates a sitemap and adds code to it. The architect shares the CDN URL and Sitemap with the website developer. The website developer completes their tasks at the same time.

User Permissions Needed 
To access Data Cloud SetupSystem Admin profile or Data Cloud Architect permission set

  1. In a Salesforce org with Data Cloud provisioned, go to Data Cloud Setup.

  2. Add the CDN link to the <head> attribute of the website.

    1. Follow the Data Cloud Module of the Salesforce Interaction Web SDK developer documentation.

    2. Load the Salesforce Interaction Web SDK. Data Cloud loads the SDK to the website.

    To instrument the website, you can also use the Chrome extension.

  3. Create a sitemap.js file, and add the code to sitemap.js.

  4. Send the updated sitemap to the admin.
