Set Up the Salesforce Interactions SDK (Data Aware Specialist)

The data aware specialist creates a sitemap and adds code to it. The Data Cloud admin has shared the CDN URL and Sitemap with the website developer. Both the data aware specialist and website developer can complete their tasks at the same time.

User Permissions Needed 
To access Data Cloud SetupSystem Administrator

  1. In a Salesforce org with Data Cloud provisioned, go to Data Cloud Setup.

  2. Add the CDN link to the <head> attribute of the website.

    1. Follow the Data Cloud Module of the Salesforce Interaction Web SDK developer documentation.

    2. Load the Salesforce Interaction Web SDK. Data Cloud loads the SDK to the website.

    To instrument the website, you can also use the Chrome extension.

  3. Create a sitemap.js file, and add the code to sitemap.js.

  4. Send the updated sitemap to the admin.
