MatchingRule

Setup object specifying a MatchingRule to use with DuplicateJob instances that share a DuplicateJobDefinition.

• Description: The developer name for the MatchingRule.

  Only users with View DeveloperName OR View Setup and Configuration permission can view, group, sort, and filter this field.

• Description: This field can contain one value: the match engine used by the matching rule. Valid values are ExactMatchEngine and FuzzyMatchEngine. Default value is ExactMatchEngine.

NamespacePrefix

• Description: The namespace prefix associated with this object.

RuleStatus 

• Type: picklist

• Properties: Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Restricted picklist, Sort

• Description: The status of the MatchingRule. Valid values are Active or Inactive.

• Possible values:

  • Inactive — Inactive (default)

  • DeactivationFailed — Deactivation Failed

  • Activating — Activating

  • Deactivating — Deactivating

  • Active — Active

  • ActivationFailed — Activation Failed

• Default value: Inactive

SobjectSubtype

• Description: The object subtype. Valid values are Person Account or None.
