Get Started with Salesforce in Claude
Overview
Salesforce in Claude is the Salesforce product line for sellers and revenue teams, delivered through the Sales Cloud in Claude plugin. It connects Claude to your Salesforce org through a secure Salesforce MCP connection. Once connected, sellers can ask Claude about their accounts, deals, and pipeline, and use pre-built skills to research prospects, prep for calls, and build account plans without leaving Claude.
In this module, you'll install the Sales Cloud in Claude plugin, connect it to your org, and put it to work on live Pronto data.
Complete the Salesforce Hosted MCPs module first
This module builds on the MCP setup from Explore Salesforce Hosted MCPs. Before you start, complete Exercise 1: Configure Salesforce MCP Servers, then either Exercise 2a with Claude or Exercise 2b with the AIforce Playground.
Salesforce in Claude is in beta
To get access, fill out the Sales Cloud in Claude beta access form. Salesforce in Claude requires a direct Anthropic subscription, such as Claude Enterprise. If you don't have access yet, skip to Exercise 2 to experience Sales Cloud in Claude in the AIforce Playground.
What You'll Do
- Upload the Sales Cloud in Claude plugin to Claude and connect it to your org
- Ask Claude about Pronto accounts, deals, and pipeline, and try the pre-built seller skills
- Experience the same Sales Cloud in Claude flow in the AIforce Playground if you don't have beta access
