Connecting to Dropbox

Use Dropbox as a source or destination for CSV files in Dataloader from MuleSoft for import and export tasks. Link your Dropbox account from the wizard and reuse that connection whenever you need files from Dropbox or want results sent to a Dropbox folder.

Use your Dropbox account as a CSV source. Select the Dropbox tab on the source file chooser to pull files from Dropbox during the upload step of an import instead of uploading from your computer.

During an import, follow Importing Data into Salesforce until you upload your CSV file. From the source file chooser, connect to Dropbox and select your file:

  1. In the source file chooser, click the plus icon to add your Dropbox account.

When you export data from Salesforce, follow the connection and query steps then, on the Run step, add a Dropbox destination:

  1. Click Add Destination folder.

  2. Select the checkbox labeled Send a copy of the results to this location.

  3. Select the Dropbox tab.

  4. Select your Dropbox connection and folder.

  5. Click Save and Run to run your task (or Save to run it later).
