Managing Salesforce Connections

Your Salesforce connection tells Dataloader from MuleSoft which org and credentials to use for a task.

With the included or Professional editions, you can configure one Salesforce connection per account. With Dataloader.io Enterprise, you can manage up to 10 Salesforce connections in one account.

Salesforce Connection Types

There are two connection types:

  • Primary: The default connection tied to your Salesforce login.
  • Secondary: Additional connections that Enterprise users can add and edit.

Connections are unique to each user, organization, and environment.

Adding a secondary connection with another user’s Salesforce credentials doesn’t upgrade that user’s Dataloader.io plan. For example, if Enterprise User A adds a connection for User B, User B’s account doesn’t automatically become Enterprise.
