Navigate the Agentforce Coworker Experience (Beta)

Search across your Salesforce CRM data and other connected data sources. Enter a query to get AI-generated answers and summaries, or standard search results organized by relevance.

PERMISSIONS NEEDED
To use Agentforce Coworker:Access_Ai_Search (API Name) Permission Set Group. Admins grant user access via Manage Users in Coworker Setup (recommended) or the main Setup menu.
  1. Enter your criteria in the search bar.
    • First-time users: opt in via the message that appears.
    • Returning users: your recent searches appear as you enter criteria.
  2. To switch between Agentforce Coworker and Standard Search, click the link under the search bar.
  3. Select how to get your results.
    • a. For a results list and short summary, click Enter or the magnifying glass to open Search mode.
    • b. For a detailed summary with inline results and follow-up suggestions, click Ask to open Ask mode, where you can expand your search conversationally.

      The Ask button isn’t available in Agentforce Coworker on the Salesforce mobile app.

  4. In your toolbar, find the new tab labeled “Search: Your Search Criteria” or “Ask: Your Search Criteria.” To return to your results, click the tab. To close it, click X.

  5. View your results.
    • a. Search mode: A quick summary appears under the search bar. Click source links to view full details. Results are organized by relevance and can include snippets and highlighted text when supported by the data source and object type.
    • b. Ask mode: A detailed answer and recommended next steps appear under the search bar.
