To use Intelligent Form Reader, your organization must have an Amazon Textract license. Check with your Salesforce representative to see if this is the case.
What kind of form are you getting data from?
Select the form type you want Intelligent Form Reader to scan. We provide six form types. To add more form types, create a document type and tell us what kind of form it is.
Where is the uploaded file stored?
When a user uploads a file that has information to be scan, a received document record is created. An uploaded file can be related to multiple received documents, but a received document can be associated with only one content document. When a user goes back to a file and selects other pages to scan, a new received document record is created. If you delete a file from a received document record, you must also delete the associated OCR document scan result record.
Where are you storing the form data?
Associate a document type with an object. Then map the fields in the form to the equivalent fields in the target object. Health Cloud extracts the information from a form and updates the mapped fields in Salesforce. Verify the values in the form against the information in the affected record. For example, check a person’s birthdate in Salesforce against the birthdate in their scanned passport.
