Set Up and Manage Social Determinants of Health

Grant Access to Records for Social Determinants
Sharing settings specify the level of access your users have to records and fields used to assign and track information about social determinants. Organization-wide sharing settings specify the default level of access users have to each others’ records. You use organization-wide sharing settings to lock down your data to the most restrictive level. For example, users have object-level permissions to read and edit opportunities, and the organization-wide sharing setting is Read-Only. By default, those users can read all opportunity records, but can’t edit any unless they own the record or are granted other permissions.
Customize Picklists and Fields for Social Determinants
You can specify picklist values that are meaningful to your organization and users for the Care Determinant Type, Care Barrier Type, and Care Intervention Type objects. If your company uses custom values for the Status and Priority fields, you can add or change them, as well.
Add the Care Determinants Component to a Record Page
The Care Determinants Lightning component lets you associate barriers with an object like an account and configures how barriers and their details appear in the app.
