OmniStudio for Health Cloud

OmniStudio is a managed package of application components built on the Salesforce platform that you can download and install into Health Cloud. Configure users to give your care coordinators the ability to access the remote site and enable admins to customize appointment flows.
Available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions.

Why Omnistudio?

OmniStudio provides a suite of services, components, and data model objects that you can use to create applications and workflows using data from Health Cloud and from external sources. When we update the OmniStudio package, the upgrades are pushed automatically to you. The OmniStudio package is required for Business Rules Engine and Decision Explainer.

OmniStudio includes:
  • OmniScripts, which define and contain user-interaction components and give you the flexibility to create logic for guided flows.
  • DataRaptors, which transfer and transform data between Salesforce and the OmniScripts, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures tools.
  • Integration Procedures, which bundle server-side data integration operations for efficiency and reuse.
  • FlexCards, which display data and launch actions.

Install the Summer '21 or later release of the OmniStudio package. See OmniStudio Release Summary for Installation and Upgrade.

As an alternative, you can install the Summer '21 or later release of the Vlocity Health package with OmniStudio licenses. Follow the OmniStudio post-installation instructions regardless of which package you install.

Follow the OmniStudio post-installation instructions. Set up FlexCards and configure designer, non-designer, and Experience site users of OmniStudio.

Experience site users are also called Digital Experience users or Community users.
