Get Ready to Install OmniStudio for Health Cloud

Prepare to add the OmniStudio managed package into your Health Cloud org so that you can create guided interactions and other rich user experiences without code.
Available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions.

Get Started with DataPacks

To help you get up and running with OmniStudio, the Salesforce Industries Process Library offers sample processes and assets to help you quickly configure Health Solutions workflows using OmniStudio components and features. After you install OmniStudio, download and install these DataPacks, as they're called, to quickly configure key workflows for your users.

Beginning with the 'Spring 22 release, the OmniStudio package replaces Vlocity INS. If you started using Health Solutions before Spring '22, check with your account executive about licensing before you install OmniStudio.

Note

Before you Install OmniStudio

  • Make sure that your org doesn't already have OmniStudio installed. From Setup, search for and then select Installed Packages. If you have OmniStudio, don't install it again.
  • Make sure you have the OmniStudio Admin, OmniStudio Runtime for Communities, and OmniStudio User permission set licenses.
  • Complete the required steps to prepare your org for OmniStudio. See Prepare to Install the OmniStudio Package.
  • Deploying the Lightning web components in the Health Cloud DataPacks to your org requires that you use Visual Studio Code and Salesforce Developer Experience (DX). If you're unfamiliar with the Salesforce DX environment, complete the Quick Start: Lightning Web Components project and the Lightning Web Components Basics in Trailhead before you download and install the DataPacks.
