Create a Quick Action to Launch the Flow

Help users launch and navigate through workflows with the help of quick actions. Quick actions enable you to perform a series of actions with just a few clicks. You can also create customized quick actions based on the specific needs of your users. Add a quick action to your interface so that users can easily launch your flows.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

  1. From the object management settings for Accounts, go to Buttons, Links, and Actions, and click New Action.
    1. For Action Type, select Flow.
    2. Select a flow that you already created to use as a quick action. For example, New Appeal.
    3. Select None in Standard Label Type picklist.
    4. Enter your label in the Label field. For example, Start an Appeal.
    5. The Name field is autopopulated. Keep it as is.
    6. (Optional) You can enter a description and select an icon for your action.
