Input Feature Label Description
Average Duration of Service Appointments The average duration of appointments of a service resource.
Missed Appointments The number of appointments missed by a service resource. An appointment is considered a missed appointment if:
  • The actual start time of the visit is greater than the scheduled start time, and the assigned resource changes after the scheduled start time, or
  • The current time is greater than the scheduled end time of the visit, and the visit’s status is Scheduled or Canceled.
Treatment Frequency by Age Category

The frequency of patients treated by a service resource for each age category. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for an age category by the total treatment count for all the age categories.

For example, a service resource has treated patients in these age categories:

  • 50-60 years: 20 times
  • 60-70 years: 54 times

The treatment frequency of patients of 50-60 years is 0.27.

Treatment Frequency by Allergy Intolerance

The frequency of each allergy intolerance treated by a service resource. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for an allergy tolerance by the total treatment count for all the allergy intolerance types.

For example, a service resource has treated patients with these three allergy intolerance types:

  • Intolerance of dairy products: 78 times
  • Intolerance of food additives: 24 times
  • Intolerance of eggs: 40 times

The treatment frequency for patients with the intolerance of dairy products is 0.55.

Treatment Frequency by Gender

The frequency of patients treated by a service resource for each gender. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for a gender by the total treatment count for all the genders.

For example, a service resource has treated patients with these three genders:

  • Male: 66 times
  • Female: 59 times
  • Transgender: 17 times

The treatment frequency for male patients is 0.46.

Treatment Frequency by Health Condition

The frequency of each health condition treated by a service resource. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for a health condition by the total treatment count for all the health conditions.

For example, a service resource has treated patients with these three health conditions:

  • Obesity: 93 times
  • Osteoporosis: 72 times
  • Arthritis: 55 times

The treatment frequency for patients suffering from obesity is 0.42.

Treatment Frequency by Marital Status

The frequency of patients treated by a service resource based on their marital status. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for a marital status by the total treatment count for all the marital statuses.

For example, a service resource has treated patients with these marital statuses:

  • Unmarried: 78 times
  • Married: 97 times

The treatment frequency for unmarried patients is 0.44.

Treatment Frequency by Postal Code

The frequency of patients treated by a service resource for each patient’s postal code. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for a postal code by the total treatment count for all the postal codes.

For example, a service resource has treated patients with these postal codes:

  • 94088: 215 times
  • 95088: 160 times
  • 95054: 167 times

The treatment frequency of patients residing in areas with the postal code of 94088 is 0.39.

Treatment Frequency by Shift

The frequency of patients treated by a service resource for each shift. This treatment frequency is calculated by dividing the treatment count for a shift by the total treatment count for all the shifts.

For example, a service resource has treated patients during these shifts:

  • 8 am to 5 pm: 40 times
  • 9 pm to 6 am: 28 times

The treatment frequency of patients in the 8 am to 5 pm shift is 0.59.

Utilization Rate The percentage of working hours that a service resource spends handling appointments. This rate is calculated for each service appointment by dividing the availability of a service resource by the total availability and then calculating the average.
