Medication Review
A patient’s medications list may consist of a long list of prescription medicines and
non-prescription medications from different sources. Medication Review helps providers and
care coordinators optimize, review, and efficiently manage the patient’s medication
list.
-
Supporting Medication Review
Health Cloud offers Medication Review as a Lightning component that you can configure on Person Account record pages for your clinicians to use. When you use it with the built-in flow that’s integrated with RxNorm, this component makes it easier for your clinicians to record medication-related information, with fewer errors. -
Objects Used in Medication Review
Medication Review uses objects from the Health Cloud clinical data model to store medication-related information. The Clinical data model must be enabled for your org if you want to use Medication Review. -
Enable Medication Review and Assign Permissions to Users
Before your clinicians can start using Medication Review, you must enable the features and assign the required permissions to your users. -
Configure Patient Medication Manager
Add the Patient Medication Manager Lightning component to person account record pages so that your clinicians can start using Medication Review. You can choose which fields appear in the component. You can also select a custom flow for adding medications instead of the default Add Patient Medication flow. -
Configure the Add Basic Medication Details Flow
Help your clinicians to add medications more quickly by using the built-in Add Basic Medication Details flow instead of the Add Patient Medication flow. Depending on your business needs, you can use this time-saving flow and associate it with the Patient Medication Manager lightning component. -
Create a Custom Flow to Add Medications
Provide additional flexibility for your clinicians to add medications by using a custom flow instead of the built-in Add Patient Medication or Add Basic Medication Details flow. Depending on your business needs, you can set up a custom flow and associate it with the Patient Medication Manager lightning component.
