Configure Remote Site Settings for Provider Network Management

Before your Salesforce org interacts with an external site, you must register the site in the Remote Site Settings page, or else the interaction fails. For Provider Network Management, register the NPI registry site and your DocuSign account site.

User Permissions Needed
To configure remote settings:

Customize Application or Modify All Data
  1. From Setup, go to Security, and click Remote Site Settings.
  2. Click New Remote Site.
  3. Enter a name and description for the NPI registry site.
  4. Enter the URL for the NPI registry site: https://npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov.
  5. Activate the site and save your changes.
  6. Similarly, add a remote site setting for your DocuSign account site.
  7. Save your changes.
