Add Health Cloud Users

You can add internal Salesforce users one at a time or in batches of up to 10 users.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud or Health Cloud for Life Sciences

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
  2. Click New User to add a single user or click Add Multiple Users to add up to 10 users at a time.
  3. For multiple users, select multiple license types that are available in your organization. Under User License, select the user license to associate with the users you plan to create.
The user license determines the available profiles.
  4. Specify the information for each user. Add a first name, last name, email, and choose the Role and Profile.
Users who need access to the Health Cloud console must have Service Cloud User enabled. If you’re using Salesforce Knowledge articles to manage protocols, enable Knowledge User for every user needing access to articles. This is not required for Health Cloud for Life Sciences users.

    User Edit page

You cannot enable Knowledge User for multiple users. Save your work and then edit each user to enable Knowledge User.

    Note

  5. To email a login name and temporary password to each new user, select Generate new password and notify user immediately.
For multiple users, select Generate passwords and notify user via email.
  6. To specify more details for the users that you’ve created, edit individual users as needed.
  7. Save your changes.
