Install Health Cloud Packages

Install the Health Cloud managed package in your org so that you can begin implementing Health Cloud for your users. After that’s done, you can install the optional unmanaged packages that extend Health Cloud with extra features.

Health Cloud packages aren’t required for Health Cloud for Life Sciences.

Important

Before installing the Health Cloud packages:

Ensure that you're logged into the Salesforce org where you want to install the packages.

  1. Install the Health Cloud managed package.
    You can find the package download URL in the Terms and Conditions section of your contract.
  2. Select the other Health Cloud packages you want to install.
    Omnistudio
    This managed package provides application components built on the Salesforce platform that you can download and install into your Health Cloud org. It’s required for some Health Cloud features.

    Einstein Analytics for Health Cloud: Risk Stratification
    This unmanaged package enables administrators to use the Einstein Analytics for Health Cloud: Risk Stratification dashboard to identify patient risk levels.

    Emergency Response Management
    This unmanaged package contains the metadata, record types, page layouts, site templates, and other items to enable the Emergency Response Management suite of features. Install this package only if you use the appointment scheduling flow with Salesforce Scheduler. This installation requires a Salesforce Scheduler license.

  3. Paste the URL for the package into your browser navigation bar, and press Enter.
  4. Enter your Salesforce credentials.
  5. Select the audience for the installation. For example, Install for Admins Only
  6. Click Install.
    Installation takes a while. You can safely leave this page, as you'll receive an email when installation is complete.
  7. To verify that the package was installed, go to Installed Packages in Setup, and look for the name of the package.
