Customize Medical Data on the Patient Card Component
The Patient Card helps care coordinators track a patient’s condition at a glance by
showing data from various objects that store the patient’s health data. Remove unneeded
fields from the Patient Card, or add fields from any object that has a reference to the
patient record.
The delivered fields on the Patient Card are based on objects in the EHR Data Model. If you’re using the Clinical Data Model, add fields to the Patient Card based on the Clinical Data Model objects, then delete the delivered fields.

Add
Essential Information to the Patient Card
-
Add a Field to the Patient Card Component
To add a field to the Patient Card component, first create a formula field to filter which records to display, then create a Patient Card Configuration record. -
Sample Override Filter Field Formulas for the Clinical Data Model
Use these formulas as is, or as a starting point to create your own formulas, to filter records in the Clinical Data Model. -
Remove a Field from the Patient Card Component
To remove a field from the Patient Card component, delete the corresponding Patient Card Configuration record. -
Automatically Refresh the Patient Card
It’s critical to display the most recent clinical information about a patient on the Patient Card. Create an Apex trigger that refreshes the Patient Card whenever data is updated.
