Configure Video Visits

Now that you have the AWS account setup and connection to Salesforce done you can configure the Video Visit utility. Input the appointment types that use the video feature, choose a transcription type, and provide the storage place for transcripts.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and Video Calls Add-On license.

Before you can configure video calls, complete the steps to prepare your org for video visits, connect to Amazon Chime, and set up video appointment types.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Video, and select Video Call Configuration.
  2. Create a video call configuration by clicking New.
  3. Enter a Label name.
  4. Enter an API name.
  5. For Usage Type, choose Chime.
  6. Enter the Experience Cloud API name for the page that includes the video component.
  7. Enter the Named Credential associated with your AWS Chime connection.
  8. For AWS Visit Region, choose the Control region used when setting up your AWS Chime connection.
  9. For External Role Identifier, enter the AWS IAM Chime Role.
    Coordinate with your AWS admin to retrieve this value. It has a format that is looks like this: arn:aws:iam::00000000000:role/SampleChimeUser.
  10. Leave the Storage Bucket name field blank, as it isn’t used.
  11. For Speech Analysis Service Type, select Transcribe Medical.
  12. For Video Call Appointment Type Value, type in one or more picklist values that you added to the Default Appointment Type picklist field, on the Service Appointment object, to signify a video appointment. Use semicolons to separate multiple values.
  13. For AWS Endpoint region, choose the Media region used when setting up your AWS Chime connection.
  14. For AWS Video Waiting Room and Messaging region, choose the Messaging region used when setting up your AWS connection.
  15. Save your changes.
