date and time of past events, and new data that’s generated after every change. Ensure regulation
compliance by tracking and auditing the history of chain of custody events.

To view the complete history of a custody record, create a report type that you can use to create reports. Alternatively, from App Launcher, find and select Custody Items, and view a list of custody item records.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Report Types, and then click Report Types.
- Click Continue.
- Click New Custom Report Type.
- For Primary Object, select Custody Items.
- Add a name in the Report Type Label. The API name is auto-populated.
- Add a description for the report type.
- For Store in Category, select Other Reports.
- In Deployment Status, select Deployed.
- Click Next.
- Save your changes.
You can now use this report type to create reports.
