jCreate Units of Measure for Health Care Metrics
Define units of measure to use with code sets for monitoring healthcare metrics. For
example, to monitor a patient’s amount of exercise, create a unit of measure called Hours Per
Week.

| To create Units of Measure records: | Edit on UnitOfMeasure |
- From the App Launcher, find and select Units of Measure.
- Click New.
- Enter a name for Unit of Measure, for example, Hours Per Week.
- Enter a description to help end users understand when to choose this unit of measure.
- Add a unit code. For example, weekly hours.
- Select a Type of measurement.
- Save your changes.
- Repeat these steps for all other units of measure.
