Compare Provider Search and Legacy Provider Search
Winter ‘23 introduced a new version of Provider Search. Provider Search in existing
customer orgs with Health Cloud versions before Winter ‘23 is now called Legacy Provider
Search.
| Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited editions with Health Cloud |
If you’re an existing customer who uses Provider Search (Legacy), we suggest that you upgrade now for the best performance and scalability. To upgrade, enable the new Provider Search.
Review these important considerations:
- Provider Search shows as “Disabled” on the Provider Search Settings page for existing customers.
- Provider Search (Legacy) remains active for existing customers until Provider Search is enabled.
- Provider Search (Legacy) uses a Sync Job that runs every 6 hours. Existing customers can continue to use the sync job until the Winter ‘24 release.
- The data model for Provider Search hasn’t changed.
- You can continue to add custom fields to the Healthcare Provider and Healthcare Practitioner Facility objects and sync them to the Provider Search Searchable Field object.
