Provider Search Limitations

Provider Search for Unauthenticated Users

Provider Search is available only for authenticated Experience site users. Every user who accesses your site as an unauthenticated user is mapped to a guest profile that is automatically created. Currently, there’s only a limited set of objects exposed to the guest user profile.

Provider Search Sync

Provider Search syncs data once every day, whereas Provider Search Legacy syncs data every six hours. Here are the limitations of the sync:
  • You can’t configure or customize the sync job.
  • You can’t write to the CareProviderSearchableTable with your own automated sync job.

Any changes made to the Healthcare Provider object will be updated by the sync job.

The Care Provider Searchable Field object is intended for internal use only. It isn’t designed to be used with sharing rules. Applying sharing rules on top of the object will not return the expected results.
