Home Health gives you a record-trigger flow that updates scheduling conflicts when field resources assigned to visits take time off. Visits affected by a resource’s absence are updated with a new status, and their resource assignments are removed.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and the Home Health Add-on license

The flow is triggered every time a new Service Resource Absence record is created to represent a resource’s time off.

To set up this absence handling, you must first configure service appointment lifecycle in Field Service Settings, and then clone and activate the Update Visits for Resource Absence flow.

To configure the updated status of visits affected by field resource absences, you must make some changes in Field Service Settings. Then, you have to define the status transition flows in Field Service.
Clone and Active the Resource Absence Flow for Home Health
To finish setting up resource absence handling, you must clone the Update Visits for Resource Absence flow, configure its invocable action, and activate the flow.
