Build an Experience Cloud Site for the Provider Portal

Set up the Provider Portal Experience cloud site and embed the required OmniScripts and FlexCards for your providers to complete their enrollment in the payer network. New or peer providers can complete the registration or nomination process without logging in to the portal, whereas registered providers must log in to complete the credentialing process.

User Permissions Needed
To set up an Experience site for Provider Network Management:

Create and Set Up Experiences AND View Setup and Configuration

AND

Provider Network Management for Experience Cloud Sites permission set
  1. From Setup, under Digital Experiences, click All Sites.
  2. Click New, select the Build Your Own (Aura) template, and click Get Started.
  3. Enter the name of the portal and the URL. We recommend naming the site as Provider Portal.
  4. Click Create and publish the site with the default settings.
  5. Back on the Digital Experiences page, click Builder next to your site.
  6. In the Builder, create a standard page named Join Our Network with the URL /joinournetwork.
  7. Set Page Access to Public to make the page publicly available for your provider users.
    A guest user profile and guest user called Provider Portal Profile are created.
  8. Place these FlexCard components onto the Join Our Network page to launch the Registration and Nomination process:
    • HealthCloudPNMJoinOurNetworkCard
    • HealthCloudPNMNominatePeer
  9. Go to the home page of the portal.
  10. In the Properties pane, set Page Access to Requires Login to make the page available only to authenticated users.
  11. Place the HealthCloudPNMApplicationCredentiallingPortalCard FlexCard onto the home page.
  12. To guide providers through the creation of a referral, add the Create Referral flow to a new or existing page. For example, add a Referral page, drag the Flow component to the canvas, and then select the Create Referral flow. Then add a menu item for your new page to the default navigation.
  13. Publish your site.
  14. Back on the Digital Experiences page, click Workspaces next to your site, then select Administration.
  15. Go to Settings and activate the site.
    Now, your users see the Join Our Network and Nominate Peer Provider buttons on the unauthenticated Join Our Network page, and they can launch the registration and nomination processes respectively. The registered and recruited providers also see the Start Credentialing button on the home page and can launch the credentialing process. If you added the Create Referral flow to the site, your users can follow flow steps to create a referral for a new or existing patient.
