Assign Permissions to the Provider Portal Guest User Profile

Help guest users such as new or peer providers to complete the registration or nomination process by assigning the required permissions to the Provider Portal guest user profile. Guest users can then access the unauthenticated Join Our Network page of the portal and can complete the required processes without logging in.

User Permissions Needed
To set up the guest user profile for an experience cloud site:

Create and Set Up Experiences AND View Setup and Configuration

AND

Provider Network Management for Experience Cloud Sites permission set

To edit object and field permissions in profiles:

Manage Profiles and Permission Sets

AND

Customize Application

Salesforce automatically creates the Provider Portal guest user profile when you set up the Provider Portal experience cloud site.

Note

  1. From Setup, under Digital Experiences, click All Sites.
  2. Click Builder next to your Provider Portal experience cloud site.
  3. In the Builder, click Settings.
  4. Select Provider Portal Profile to configure the guest user profile.
  5. Edit the profile and enable these standard object permissions:
    • Omni Data Transformations
    • Omni Data Transformation Items
    • Omni Processes
    • Omni Process Compilations
    • Omni Process Elements
    • Omni UI Cards
  6. Give Read access to the Contact and Account standard objects and give Read and Write access to the Lead object.
  7. Enable the Enables consumers and partners to execute OmniScripts, DRs, Cards through a Community or off platform general user permission.
  8. Save your changes.
    Guest users can now complete the registration or nomination process without logging in to the portal.
