There are items to consider in setting up the data to not cause errors in running the search for providers and appointment slots. Also, the appropriate permissions need to be assigned to the call center agent to run the flow.
  • The appointment for a patient is recorded in the Service Appointment object.
  • The Work Type object is used to record the visit type.
  • The Engagement Channel Work Type stores the channel of the appointment, such as in-person, phone, or video.
  • If no visit type is selected in the Intelligent Appointment Management console, you can set the visit type in the flow but cannot set the channel
  • If the visit type is selected in the Intelligent Appointment Management console and then the appointment guidance flow runs, then you can set the channel.
  • If the engagement channel is invalid and the work type is correct, then the provider search will run automatically, but you will see an error.
  • If the appointment guidance flow sets a channel for the visit type, but the data for channels is not set up, you will see an error message.
