Set Up Assessments and Recommendations
To give your users recommendations when they create care plans, first create an
assessment that they can use to gather information from patients. Then, map the questions and
their responses to appropriate recommendations. And finally, set up a decision table to process
that mapping.

Create an Assessment
Care managers use assessments to gather information from patients. For an assessment to be compatible with Integrated Care Management, its questions must be of the type single-select or multi-select, and the responses for those questions must be under 255 characters. -
Map Responses to Recommendations
To map assessment question response options to their corresponding recommendations, use the Assessment Question Response Recommendation object. -
Set Up a Decision Table
Integrated Care Management uses Decision Tables to process how assessment question responses and recommendations are mapped. Setting up the decision table must be the last step in your data setup for Integrated Care Management. If you map more responses and recommendations after you’ve set up a decision table, that decision table must then be refreshed.
